Dedicated Procurement Solutions was started by two procurement professionals, Gary Ditchfield and Steven
Yatt whose differing skills sets complement each other to provide a
diversified procurement offering that meets the client’s needs and
achieves a value-based outcome.
DPS was established to provide a range of procurement services from
strategic supply chain management and sourcing through contract
management and administration to tactical and operational
procurement functions all within a corporate governance and ethical
framework. All of this underpinned by management of master data
and the provision of key procurement statistics and reports, including
spend and compliance visibility.
The team is passionate about procurement management, supply
chain transformation and creating an environment where
governance and teamwork prevail. We strongly believe in conducting
ourselves in an ethical, professional, and objective manner when
engaging with and on behalf of all clients.

A strategic procurement leader and people's person, who is passionate about ethics and continuous business improvement.
Gary is highly competent in various senior and managerial roles within the Procurement and Supply Chain functions within the Mining and Construction Sectors.
Gary enjoys working with people with a focus on transformation, tactical and operational procurement activities. He has been exposed to various business settings as well as solutions to different business problems. He also has experience from a Business Development and Sales perspective, focusing on the Retail sector.
He has worked closely with suppliers who can offer services from Heavy Industrial, Mining Supplies, Construction and the Steel Industry. Has developed experience as well in the fields of IT systems, ERP implementations, SLA reporting, KPI reporting, Data Management, BEE Data verifications and even BEE funding.
Gary is result driven and has a passion for the support of the emerging BEE suppliers and strives to achieve beyond compliance targets! He is a valuable asset to both internal and external stakeholders, with solid but fair business principles.
